CAT

Cat is a very old ginger tom cat. He was born before I was and used to have a different name. Cat used to be called ‘Kayfer’, like ‘K’ for Kitten. He decided that he wasn’t going to answer when he was called Kayfer so my Dad shouted ‘Cat’ at him. Cat turned round and meowed really loud and he’s been called CAT ever since.

Cat sleeps on the edge of my bed except for when he sleeps on the edge of the settee near the window.

When I was two I covered Cat in Sudocrem but he didn’t seem to mind. That’s the thing with Cat he’s very chilled!

Beano (Boggsy)

Beano is a gorgeous Guinea Pig. When I open the back door he starts squeaking to attract my attention. Not many people know that Guinea Pigs can purr like cats. I like to play with Beano on my knee in the house. He purrs and chatters to me all the time, especially when he wants a carrot to eat.

The reason why Beano has such an unusual name is that when I was first looking for a guinea pig I found one that I liked and he was an albino. So I called that one Beano....short for Albino..... and when I got Beano I kept the name. Beano does have a nickname which is Boggsy, short for Beano Boggs.
